Our Story

“Ambidextrous brains required”

This was the call to action of the WPP Fellowship graduate programme that first brought Notable Founders Laura Tan and Tiffany Winter together at the start of their careers. Fast forward 15 years of working in senior leadership roles at various WPP agencies around the world, we set up Notable to provide an alternative to the big agency model.

Our goal was to create a company that was SMALL, SENIOR and NIMBLE, reflecting our hybrid skill sets and a desire to offer a more personal, bespoke approach for clients.

Laura Tan

Laura has a multi-disciplinary brand and marketing background, with two decades of global experience at renowned agencies such as Ogilvy, JWT and Hill & Knowlton. Prior to founding Notable, Laura was Head of Strategy at one of WPP’s leading brand agencies, Brand Union (now Design Bridge & Partners), where she led the strategy for clients such as Jaguar Land Rover, Shangri-La hotels and Vodafone and was also responsible for growing the agency’s digital capabilities. Laura learnt her trade on the prestigious WPP Fellowship graduate programme and has a First Class honours degree from the University of Oxford.

In her role as Partner and Strategy Lead at Notable, Laura brings a sharp, creative mind and entrepreneurial spirit to every brief — helping brands define their purpose, elevate their storytelling, and engage audiences across platforms. Her work is trusted by some of the world’s most discerning companies including HSBC, Bain & Company, Accor and The Ritz London.

Laura is a recognised thought leader on the luxury sector and is regularly invited to contribute to research articles and keynote presentations, including at Walpole’s Luxury Summits.

Beyond Notable, Laura sits on the Board of Godalming College, one of the UK’s leading Sixth Form colleges. Married to a diplomat, with two young children, her experience of living and working internationally brings a cultural fluency to both her personal and professional life.

Tiffany Winter

Tiffany is a talented strategic marketer and creative leader with two decades of global experience spanning London, New York, and Buenos Aires. She began her career on the prestigious WPP Fellowship after graduating from the University of Oxford, quickly establishing herself as a hybrid thinker across branding, advertising, and media. Tiffany spent over a decade at Mindshare New York, where she led content strategy and partnerships for brands like Jaguar Land Rover, MoMA, and De Beers Group, delivering multiple award-winning content programmes.

In her role as a Partner at Notable, Tiffany leads client relationships and drives brand and business transformation for a wide range of clients, including HSBC Private Bank, Accor Hotel Group and Bain & Company. She’s known for her natural leadership style, building trusted client relationships and fostering strong, collaborative team cultures.

Under her tenure, Notable has expanded internationally, increased revenue year over year, and diversified its offering to clients and the marketing community. A founder at heart, Tiffany co-created the travel app Noted Places and sits on the board of her family’s engineering business. With British–Ghanaian heritage, a Swiss husband, and three children born in New York City, she leads a truly global life — splitting her time between London, New York, and Zurich.

Walpole

An 8 year partnership with the industry body for British luxury. The partnership between Notable and Walpole has included co-creating a series of publications on the topic of luxury, guest speaking at their events and joining their trade mission to the US.

Notable Places

A hospitality focused practice blending brand and operational expertise. Notable advises select hospitality clients on how to build a ‘place of note’, offering a rare blend of brand and operational know-how, by collaborating with partners who have proven operating experience.

The Contemporaries

A community for women in luxury. Co-founded by Notable and hotel communications expert Emma Parfitt, The Contemporaries is a ‘non-networking’ club to exchange ideas, share experiences and develop a supportive community. We meet up every other month for roundtable discussions and guest speaker events. Our members span CMOs, CEOs, Journalists, Creative Directors and Founders across hospitality, fashion, interiors and publishing.
